Trevor Noah won The Nielsen Booksellers Choice Award last week for his memoir Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.
The prize is awarded to the favourite book as chosen by South African booksellers. Trevor took time to thank his readers, South African booksellers, and his English teacher in his acceptance speech.

The best-selling book, which won the NAACP Image Award, has also been nominated for the Thurber Prize for American Humour. Many people have endorsed and recommended the book, including Bill Gates.
