- We encourage you to write by hand as much as possible, especially when you are doing prompts, exploring, or brainstorming characters and scenarios.
- But, you are welcome to use any tool or material that you are comfortable with. No two methods, or two writers, are the same.
How do I complete the exercises?
- You can either download the course and work from a printed version, or complete the exercises directly in the online modules.
- Some tasks are free-writing, while others offer more structure and clear guidance.
- For free-writing exercises, just start writing and see where your ideas lead.
- For structured tasks, follow the instructions as closely as you can—but remember, this is creative writing, and flexibility is part of the process.
