Susan Ertz was born 13 February 1887 and died 11 April 1985.

Susan Ertz was an Anglo-American writer. The Proselyte, the story of a London woman who marries a Mormon missionary and moves with him to Utah, is one of her well-known books. In the Cool of the Day was made into a movie in 1963.
