Before I Die
Aim:
To give characters something to strive for and to show weaknesses, dreams, and ambitions.
How:
- Write down 10 things you want to do before you die.

- Have you done them? Why not? Are you going to?
- Take a character from the box. Repeat the exercise for the character. Include three of your dreams in their list.
- Your character is dying.

- They write a letter to the love of their life. What do they say?

Result:
At least one strong emotion should come out of this exercise. It would be the emotion that defines the essence of the character.
