Scott Turow is an American lawyer and bestselling author celebrated for his crime and suspense novels set in the legal world. Turow earned his J.D. from Harvard in 1978, where he also wrote One L: The Turbulent True Story of a First Year at Harvard Law School. Additionally, Turow is the author of Ultimate Punishment: A Lawyer’s Reflections on Dealing with the Death Penalty and editor of Guilty As Charged: A Mystery Writers of America Anthology. His books have been translated into over 40 languages and sold over 30 million copies. Several have been adapted for film and television, including Presumed Innocent.
