Writers Write shares writing tips, writing prompts, and writing resources. Use these writing prompts for February 2020 to get you writing.
One of the best ways to create a writing routine is by setting aside time every day to write using a writing prompt. You can use our monthly prompts or subscribe to our daily writing prompts to help you do this.
Our prompts usually suggest a situation, a setting, a dilemma, a conflict, a choice, or a motivation. Some of them will be specific and others will be more flexible.
Remember that you can write anything you want. A prompt is just a starting point. What you end up with is up to you. So be creative or workmanlike or outrageous. Use the senses – or not. Just write!
If you want to know how to make the best use your prompts, read our article: All About Writing Prompts & Writing Practice. It will explain why a daily writing exercise is so good for you.
We hope our 29 writing prompts for February 2020 inspire you to start a writing routine.
