This comment is so close to home. I, too, have several works in progress. The ‘logic’ says finish one piece, and you will be happy and feel the joy and exhilaration from reaching the ‘goal’ of one complete story, manuscript, or precious article that you have worked on for the longest time. Or, the ‘logic’ says work on each piece a bit until you get to that proverbial stopping point. Then there is the work that is bringing in the remuneration for your efforts in the field of publication- writing, editing, critiquing, reviewing, and so forth. Finally, this entry is commiserating and feeling the joy of fellowship with fellow writers. Honestly, there are no words that fit- only feelings ( that vary with no other explanations)—happy writing and goal-reaching; however, that appears for each of us. And, if there is a cliff-hanger or incomplete thought in this entry, so be it.
