Ode to my knees
Aim:
Poetry can gives us fresh eyes as writers. It allows us to see ourselves and our creativity differently.
How:
Make a list of three of your body parts you like and three that you don’t.
- Write a short poem about a body part you like but make it sound like your worst feature.
- Then…write a short poem about a body part you don’t like but make it sound like your best feature.
You may use free verse or any other poetic structure.
