As the Queen, I regard myself as the most beautiful person in my country, if not in the whole wide world. You can imagine how I felt last week when my mirror told me that there was someone who was even more beautiful and that her name is Snow White.
Naturally I had to take action. It happens to be the season of red apples which shine beautifully when they are polished and look even more delicious when they are filled with poison. Yum yum, I say, but not on my own behalf. We’ll soon see who is the most beautiful once Snow White has tasted the apple I am sending her.
(By the way, I have imprisoned the seven dwarfs so they will not cause any trouble.)
So there I was, sitting under a tree, snogging my girlfriend. I was minding my own business, not causing any trouble for anyone else, I swear. We were completely absorbed in our kiss, when out of the blue, I felt a hard thud on my head.
I pushed her away, and my hand went straight to my head, where I felt a large egg already beginning to form. My girlfriend looked at me quizzically.
“Ow,” I said. “That hurt!”
“I’m sorry,” was her reply, in an irritated voice. “I thought you might enjoy trying something knew. You didn’t have to push me away.” With that, she got up and stormed off.
As I stood up and made to follow her, my eyes happened to catch something round and green on the ground. I bent down and picked it up. An apple. I had lost my girlfriend, because of a stupid apple. Would she ever forgive me?
