I’m waiting for my Indian girlfriend to meet me in Paris. I arrived in London last week and have now concluded my business. I took the Eurostar to Paris and have settled into our suite at the Bristol. Flowers have arrived, the champagne is being chilled. There are chocolates, there is what I believe to be her favourite perfume, beautifully gift wrapped.
We’ve never met, other than on-line. I have her photo but is it hers? Will she come? The suspense is torment. I imagine her flight. First class. To whom is she sitting next? I believe him to be debonair and charming. Very good looking. Young! OMG, will she go of with him?
