Daily Writing Prompt

I’d like to have been Pliny. I believe that he was pretty ugly (if that makes sense) but exceptionally wise and astute. He lived through very interesting times, including one of the volcanic eruptions of Pompeii. I like the sense of calm which he seems to have conveyed, something i wish i could duplicate.

Perhaps we would have been a supporter of ‘In Praise of Slow’.
