Once upon a time there were six dwarfs and none of them was Happy. They were: Sad, Miserable, Angry, Pathetic, Envious, Grim, and all of them were jealous. This was because they had fallen out with Happy who had once been among them but had left about two years previously.

Why? You may ask. Because some siren-like girl, named Ice-White, had taken a fancy to Happy and wooed him away. Now the subject of this story is straightforward. For how long will Happy be happy?
