Daily Writing Prompt

I walked with every step faster than before till i was running and in my sight at last i saw his old mustang 45′ sitting like he left. Covered in leaves of autumn and dust. I searched the keys with trembling hands and as i opened the seat the nostalgic smell of leather and dad’s perfume filled my lungs. I swear i catched a glimpse of him standing outside. As i opened the glove compartment i found what took me 20 years of search. The letter, it fell into my lap. Taking a deep breath i leaned on the seat and on the roof i saw the intials of my parents. I wondered how something so old can hold so many memories.
