Two bodies arrive at a mortuary in San Francisco – but, one is still breathing. The victim, back from the dead, is a rich socialite with no memory of how she ended up in a hotel room with a naked, dead middle-aged man on top of her.

It’s up to the Women’s Murder Club to solve this bizarre case. Claire Washburn, the medical examiner, is the first of the club to rescue her from the freezing morgue drawer. Top crime reporter, Cindy Thomas, wants to get the scoop on what happened, with the help of her handsome detective boyfriend.

When the body of a drug addict is found with clues to the murder, the case takes on another surprising twist and a showdown at a luxury estate. This is an engaging little mystery, but is often hampered by some pedestrian writing. If you don’t know the characters from the original series, you may be a little lost.
