What a wonderful cookbook filled with easy-to-make Mediterranean dishes!
Although I am not familiar with the Mediterranean diet, this cookbook is easy to follow. You do not require a lot of ingredients or time to prepare the dishes. It’s so easy to become stuck in a rut in the kitchen – I know because I run out of ideas on what to make night after night. This cookbook gave me plenty of ideas for simple yet beautiful meals that are quick and easy to prepare.
I managed to make the butterbean and chorizo starter, which required eight ingredients. I had most of them and it only took 15 minutes to prepare. I paired this dish with garlic bread and lettuce salad. It was delicious, especially for a hot summer’s afternoon. My family thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
The book is well laid-out, with each section concentrating on a specific meat. There is also a separate dessert section. It is easy to follow and I have had no problems making use of it. I would certainly recommend this book to my friends and family.
