Today, we’re going to do a short comparison of 6 writing software. But before we do, what are you looking for in writing software? Make a list of the things you think you would use on a regular basis when writing your novel, and then see if any of these software cover everything you need. You may want to use MS Word and then import your document into another programme for formatting purposes. Or you may prefer to use one programme for everything. The trouble is, not every software has everything you might need. This is by no means an exhaustive list of the available novel writing software, but it is a start.
