The Lady With The Purple Eye

The Lady With The Purple Eye by Francois Bloemhof (Human & Rousseau) ISBN: 978-0-7981-5533-5

Even though the book had a chilling edge to it, I enjoyed the humour. When I first saw the book, I thought it would be a small children’s book that wasn’t even scary, but I found myself staying up at night, not being able to put the book down, just so that I could find out how this fascinating story would end.
When Chris and Marley start at a new school, they find themselves in the middle of a thrilling situation. They make amazing friends; Angela and Bert, who also happen to be siblings. When Chris and Marley notice something strange going on with Angela and Bert, they have to get to the bottom of it.
Chris and Marley know that this mystery has something to do with the scary new librarian, Miss Badman, who Angela and Bert are terrified of. When Angela and Bert come to school one day with shaved heads, Chris and Marley decide that they have to give Miss Badman a visit to see what is going on, but they must be careful, because they might be next…
