  1. I stammered my way over to the bar and ordered another shot of cinnamon goodness that I was certain would be the death of me. However, I didn’t care.

After the day I had, it was necessary. I could hear my friend giggling at me from out table, which now seemed a mile away. I held onto the bar for dear life as the bartender finally noticed my struggle and came to me. “Another shot?” He asked with trepidation. “Two,” I yelled and laughed at once. “You know your problem could be better solved if you were sober,” someone said nearby and I turned quickly to the busy body not minding their own… Oh my. He was perfection. Brad and George all in one.

I couldn’t make myself speak. Damn it. “Listen, cinnamon, I would prefer you not be drunk if you’re going to spend the night in my bed?” The hunky stranger asked turning his Adonis body towards mine. It was different from any other line she’d been force fed by losers, but he was no loser. His clothes, demeanor and smile said that. “What makes you think I’ll wind up in your bed?” she asked with a lazy smile. “Because you need a strong, giving lover to make you forget this jerk that sent you to fall apart in a bar,” he said taking her two shots and downing them himself. “I’m not a wham, bam kinda girl,” I replied. As he stood and took my hand in his. “Let’s get to know each other until midnight and then we go upstairs and I’ll make you forget your damn name until morning,” he whispered in my ear and I gasped in surprise. The man had just won and he knew it.
