Super detective, Dave Gurney comes out of retirement to figure out how to solve this heinous crime.
The mystery deepens as you read on. His wife Madeleine is not okay about him coming out of retirement to help the police who have drawn a blank. But although she keeps aloof from Gurney and the case, she also shows insight into solving the riddles.
A compelling read on subjects that are terrifying, from sexual sadism to the inner workings of the truly psychologically disturbed.
An intellectually written story, this is something to get your teeth into until the last drop of blood. I have no nails left. I bit them off as I read and searched for the insane killer.
This is a captivating plot and so well written
