More Bloody Horowitz

It’s weird, but I think I like this book. A collection of short stories so bloody and bizarre I had to sleep with a night light. Not really, but I did check under the bed.
It boasts titles such as SheBay: She was Daddy’s favourite…until she had to be sold and Are you sitting comfortably? Some marriages end unhappily. This one ends with blood. Bet your life is a reality TV show where you really play for your life and a case full of money and Power is the story of the strange, unpleasant death of a strange, unpleasant boy.
He does a lot of telling instead of showing, but it suits the book, the old school layout and the old fashioned tales of horror. He pokes fun at himself, his characters and at death. 
I even loved the cover blurb and I agree that this volume of murder and mayhem will do very well in your school library. Anthony Horowitz is an award winning children’s book author after all.
