Nelson DeMille was an American author of 24 action adventure and thriller novels, seven of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers. His works include The Gold Coast, Plum Island, and The General’s Daughter. He was a member of Poets & Writers, the Authors Guild, and a past president of the Mystery Writers of America. He was also a member of the International Thriller Writers, which honoured him as 2015 ThrillerMaster of the Year. DeMille also wrote under the pen names Jack Cannon, Kurt Ladner, Ellen Kay, and Brad Matthews.
