Book Review – Predator

Predator by Wilbur Smith with Tom Cain (HarperCollins)

Predator is the sequel to Smith’s previous novel, Vicious Circle, in which Hector Cross managed to eliminate one of his arch enemies, Carl Bannock.

In Predator, Johnny Congo, the surviving villain of the duo responsible for the death of his wife, makes a dramatic escape from death row. Thus begins the showdown for Cross and Congo to destroy each other.

Through corporate skulduggery, betrayal on oilrigs in Alaska and Angola, the tale weaves a typical Wilbur Smith story filled with action-packed scenes. With storms at sea, gunfights, and torture, it’s a must-read for fans of this prolific author.
