Lauren Handel Zander takes no prisoners in this big-hearted, hard-hitting self-help book. Are you ready to put in the hours and work hard to live a happy life? Then cut the crap, stop pointing fingers and do what is necessary. We are responsible for how we react to the world around us. At least that is what I got from reading this book and working through her exercises. The techniques and information she shares offer good guidance to help you work through your inner obstacles. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
I found some aspects boring. Perhaps I have worked through those areas in my life already? I also found the constant case studies a little dull. So, I skipped forward to the parts that stirred interest in me.
I know we often get in the way of ourselves on our own journeys to reach our true potential. If you are someone who needs a kick up the rear end like me, I recommend having a read through and skipping the parts that don’t align with you or your goals.
