Book Review – Hide And Seek

Having never read a ‘DI Helen Grace Thriller’ before, I was a little anxious about not being able to follow the storyline. I was right. This book cannot be read as a general “pick-up-and go”. I initially struggled to figure out what was going on, and what had happened to land Helen Grace in prison.
The writer’s style is captivating, and reading the book feels as if you are living the story because of the pace the writer creates. I am definitely going to read the rest of the series.
That being said, it was what we would expect from a crime thriller-fast-paced, suspense-filled with loads of moments of anxiety for the main character, Helen Grace and some seriously unsettling moments.
The story begins with Helen Grace in Holloway prison and … not one to reveal spoilers, you will just need to pick up the book and see what happens to Helen Grace yourself!
