I came across colouring books for adults about two years ago. I’m hooked. Suzy Taylor’s designs are fun, fresh, very interesting and I simply love her attention to detail. The Dot-to-Doodle colour-in and draw range is great. It gives you a feeling of comfort and you relax almost immediately once you start colouring in and you could spend hours doing this.

You also have the option to draw yourself with easy step by step instructions which I love. I am a bit hopeless at drawing and this book gives you great guidance to improve your drawing skills. Being an animal lover, I enjoyed the choice of animal designs, especially the owls.

Once you have managed to get the knack of connecting the dots you can move onto the more challenging designs. The more adventurous can choose one of the many templates provided to create your own shapes and designs. I’m definitely a fan and it’s certainly lots of fun. And if you tend to be more on the structured side you can use a ruler for a neater and more precise look. Suzy Taylor is known for her passion of tiny details which is certainly reflected in this edition.
