Holidays in Heck is a collection of outspoken, and often humorous, accounts by a former war correspondent for the US.

P.J. O’Rourke is the author of 13 books including Give War a Chance and Parliament of Whores both of which were #1 New York Times best sellers. He is a talented reporter and writer with sharp wit and a strong story telling style.

Each account is saturated with rich history and or politics, with a shallow inclusion of family experience. The book lacks any personal impressions and I lost real interest after the sixth ‘adventure’.
